when you sign up for lessons with us, you agree to the following:​

• after your trial lesson, you may register for recurring weekly lessons. there is a yearly $40 registration fee, which will cover your lesson books and sheet music. please note that if you would like to continue with us after the initial lesson, you must commit to the weekly schedule. you may schedule a drop-in lesson ($40) if you would like to try another lesson before you sign up.

• trial and drop-in lessons must be paid for upfront; weekly lessons are billed on the eighth day of the month through your my music staff account. missed payments will be subject to a $10 late fee.

• lesson cancellations and rescheduling must occur at least 24 hours in advance of your lesson time by emailing admin@wallflowermusicstudio.com or calling/leaving a voicemail at (410) 979-7131. due to the nature of in-home lessons, it is difficult to reschedule, especially if multiple students cannot make their usual time during the week. therefore, if you or your instructor must miss one week of lessons with at least 24 hours' notice, you will receive a "video lesson" for that week, in which you send videos of your current repertoire and your instructor uses your regularly scheduled lesson time to review the videos and record feedback. note that you must send your videos before the time of the cancelled lesson to receive video feedback, which will be posted by the end of that day. if two or more weeks of lessons in a row will be missed, the instructor will do their best to reschedule at least one of those lessons, or your billing will be adjusted.

• in case of inclement weather, your instructor will let you know if it is possible to meet for your lesson at least two hours before it is scheduled to begin. if not, a video lesson will be provided (please see above).

• lesson membership cancellations must be received before the 20th of the month to take effect at the end of that month. if your cancellation is received on the 20th or later, you will be billed for the following month.

• lessons will not be given on the following holidays: easter sunday, memorial day, 4th of july, labor day, thanksgiving, christmas eve, christmas day, new years' eve, new years' day.

• you must have your own instrument to practice with. we will discuss any other required materials at your trial lesson.

• wallflower music studio was made for those who are passionate about learning music. we reserve the right to discontinue lessons if you are not a good fit.
